Peggy Crane, Executive Director

As Employment Specialist I find great satisfaction connecting people with meaningful work.  In particular I founded this agency to assist people who have disabilities to become included in the broader job market within Simcoe County.   Assisting individuals to overcome barriers and improve their quality of life is an awesome job and I have a hard time visualizing myself doing anything else.   Observing participant growth and achievement is my biggest reward.

As Careers for Inclusion Inc. enters its fourth year of service, it is my goal to achieve continued growth and improve programs and services in order to make them available to an increasing number of people who want successful employment. I bring to the agency; over fourteen years experience working with Persons with Disabilities in Human/Social and Employment Services.  My areas of study include Counselling, Crisis Management, Mental Health, Addictions, and Supported Employment.  My current study interests are Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders.

I enjoy meeting new people at community events and exploring potential work placements for our clients, this partnership in turn changes the way people with disabilities are perceived and how they are able to contribute.  We have an extensive list of employers who have helped our clients achieve their personal goals along with community partners who also share in our commitment.

Chelsey Peckham, Career Development Consultant

I consider it a true honour and privilege to serve alongside Peggy and Gemma as we teach, guide and encourage individuals with disabilities to help them achieve their employment goals.

I graduated from Heritage College & Seminary in 2006 with a Bachelor of Religious Education and Counselling. Since I began working at Careers for Inclusion Inc. in 2009, I have completed career development training including:

  • Employment Outcomes Professional II (Employment Management Professionals Inc./Dover Training Group)
  • Cognitive Motivational Tools for Negotiating Behavioural Change in an Employment Setting (Employment Management Professionals Inc./Dover Training Group)

My education, along with a six -month training plan, has allowed me to gain the knowledge, tools and skills necessary to become an effective Career Development Consultant.

In 2011, I gained an additional role at Careers for Inclusion Inc.: Manager of Employment Services. This position allows me to train and supervise staff and assist with managing and marketing our Employment Services Program.

I really love my job here at Careers for Inclusion! I truly value the opportunity to assist clients in preparing for, securing and maintaining meaningful employment so that together we can successfully promote diversity and inclusion within our community.
